Paint Brush Maintenance:

1. You do have to get them in water quickly after use or they stiffen up. Be sure to never leave them in water and dry them well.

2. Cleaning: Water based paint-warm soapy water, oil/solvent based paints-petroleum essence.

3. Drying / Storage: Flatwise or head upward.

4.At the beginning of using a new pen, it's very normal to lose a few hairs slightly. It's not a quality problem. Please don't worry.
